I am Jem Lopez, the owner and main artist at Beauty by Jemz, a company offering personalized, mobile hair and makeup services for every occasion. I am a Professional Makeup & Hair Artist with a total of 10 years of experience in the Beauty Industry. I have always had a keen eye for beauty and I believe that makeup & hair are the most interesting, fun and essential accessories to complete any style. Whether bold and colourful or in the natural and minimalist style, to enhance beauty while creating something unique and stunning is not my only goal, but I also always strive to enhance a person’s best features and assets to bring out their personal style and confidence as well.

I provide all types of makeup and hair styling, including actor & model headshots, film, stage, fashion/editorial/runway, costume/Caribana, model portfolios & model tests, men’s grooming, glamour, bridal and ethnic bridal makeup.  I have worked with models represented by some of the Top Agencies in Canada and Internationally, including Elite Models, Spot6, Fulcher Agency, Next Models, Corestone Models, B&M Agency, Sutherland Models and Elmer Olsen. The makeup and hair styling I provide is always skillfully done to meet clients’ needs while exceeding their expectations and always using high grade, photographic, professional quality makeup and tools.
